In Between Grief and Joy; I Walked on Stones 2023-2024

When everything moves and breaks...what do you do to survive? For me, all I could do was walk.

In this exploration, I address themes of grief, loss, the search for identity, and hope in the face of Cancer(Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma) that kept me between the hospital and my room for over a year.

These instant photos were taken over the course of a year and a half as an alternate reality, a hope, a reimagining and construction of a world where the landscape, light, offerings, and the earth saved me from my pain and allowed me to escape the devastation of my own reality.
